Blog Page:

Over the years, Blogs have risen in popularity. By offering a robust communication method to exchange stories, news, opinion, and more. Blogs enable users to engage and receive feedback from an audience. With the introduction of Rich Site Summary (RSS) feeds, audiences can now subscribe to blogs and receive real-time updates whenever there is a new entry. There are a number of ways to utilize SharpSchool’s Blogs for an educational setting. 


Calendar Page:
Using the Classroom Calendars, teachers can ensure that students and parents are always aware of upcoming assignments and deadlines. This is also a great place to publish notifications about other important events such as field trips, holidays and other school events. Events can also be sent to other calendars so others are always aware of your important dates. 


Discussion Forum Page:
Discussion forums are an excellent tool for quick and informative dialogue on various topics between groups of individuals. You can use them to publish course topics for your students to collaborate on, provide sections for discussion on group work, or answer questions your students may have in an organized, digital environment. This manual will guide you through setting up discussion forums and instruct you on using its many helpful features. 


Document Container Page:
The Document Container can be used to house a repository of documents, assignments, or newsletters. This manual will guide you through how to upload files, how to store files in organized folders, how to create links to resources on the internet, and how to make changes to resources within the Document Container. 


External Link Page:

xternal Link Pages provide a simple, one-click option for users to open a pdf or be taken directly to another website.  You can select pages from the web, pages from within your website, or files uploaded from your computer to add to your External Link Page. This manual will show you how to create and edit External Link Pages. Additionally, tips and suggestions are provided to help you avoid common pitfalls. 


Photo Gallery Page:
The Photo Gallery is a great tool for administrators, teachers, and students. This tool allows you to create multiple albums with dynamic features — such as the ability to view pictures as slideshows, or allow for moderated commenting. This is a great feature for showcasing student projects, field trips, or sporting events. *Students must have a photo release before posting to the website. However, if someone notices an image they are uncomfortable with, that is posted, it would be advisable to remove it.
