GIP Policy Committee

Leadership

The GIP Policy Committee is compromised of twelve member's, four ISD 535 administrators, four REA representatives, and four Winona State University Members.  Each of the respective organizations is responsible for selecting its own representatives.  The committee utilizes a "consensus" model for deliberations and arriving at decisions or recommendations.  The committee focuses its efforts in four major areas: Program design, program planning, program evaluation, programs and problem-solving.

Winona State University is represented by: Graduate Induction Program Director, RED Department Chair, RED Professor, and RED TPC & Induction Coordinator.

ISD 535 is represented by 535 GIP Coordinator, 535 Director of Student Support Services, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and one elementary principal.

Rochester Education Association is represented by the REA President and three teachers with previous GIP affiliation(resident or clinical).
